What is the End of Life Care Course?

'How people die remains in the memory of those who live on.'
-- Dame Cecily Saunders, 1918-2005

This new, interactive study day aims to provide a practical, evidence-based overview of contemporary end of life care.

It will review the evidence base for various aspects of EOLC, as well as addressing the medico-legal and ethical issues relevant to 21st century practice.

The study day will be of benefit to all healthcare professionals involved in the delivery of EOLC, irrespective of their speciality or place of work.

The lectures will be supplemented with relevant reading materials, including slide presentations, reprints of articles, and reference / further reading lists.

The End of Life Care Course has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 6 external CPD credits (code:123350)

The event is partially subsidised via sponsorship from pharmaceutical and other companies, who may exhibit during the course.
